I wear very little blush because I feel like people tend to look like they are going out clubbing once they put on blush. I’ve discovered through trial and error that it’s all about the shade you select and the amount you apply. I love this Diorblush Glowing Color in Pink in Love. The compact comes with a mirror and two shades inside. On the left is the main color that looks like there is a hint of coral in the flat pink and on the right is the highlighter with a tad look of iridescent purple. I know this sounds strange but in direct light this definitely has coral and violet undertones. There is a shimmer that transfers to the face and gives a glow when complete. It’s not a “hey I’m a glitter bomb” glow but a subtle hint of shine which looks like the sun hit the top of your cheek.
When I apply this blush I mix the two in a sweeping motion as directed by the Dior counter manager. If you are looking for that “blushing bride” result, this is it. You can buy this at Nordstrom and Sephora. It’s a bit pricey at $42, but a little goes an long way and when it looks this natural, it’s worth it.
