Beauty Review: Which MAC Cosmetics Foundation for Oily Skin

Okay so how many foundations should a girl have?  And if she has so many, shouldn’t she attempt to try other brands?  Unfortunately, I have to stand up and say, “ Hi, my name is Dawn and I am a MAC-a-holic.

MINERALIZE SATINFINISH $29.50- I have an oily T-zone and thought I could make this normal-dry skin foundation work.  I had to try the MINERALIZE SATINFINISH foundation because I wanted that skin that looks like you are wearing a layer of satin.  Unfortunately the slightly luminous look made me, well slightly break out. If you want the glowing skin that makes a man want to touch your face and you fall into the 35+ group with fine lines/dry skin- Go buy it!

STUDIO SCULPT $29.50- Aging makes me crazy.  I needed perfect looking skin. I was in LA when this released and simply had to have it.  The buildable coverage was the pleasure for me, because I have chin acne-UGH and you don’t need a concealer with this product.  One less step entices me every time.  Studio sculpt oxidizes more than the other MAC foundations- my suggestion is to buy a shade lighter. If you have oily skin- use this fabulous find for photo ops!  You will look flawless!

STUDIO FIX FLUID $26.00- Oil free and my absolute fav!  I have used this for years. I try the new releases and come right back to this product that is obviously made for the oily skin tones.  When I apply this product I feel like a Carmel Barbie of perfection with perfectly flawless, smooth skin. This foundation oxidizes as well causing a shift in tone, but you are safe sticking to your skin tone and adding the SKINFINISH powder of a slightly lighter shade to balance.

All to be applied with the 190 Foundation brush $32.00.  Is it necessary to use a brush you ask? Through trial and error I have found that my foundation stays on all day when I apply with the 190 foundation brush.
